Local healthcare receives boost from Palmer Lions

Submitted by St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation

The Palmer Rapids and Area Lions Club have gathered again to support local healthcare services in the community. They recently provided $7,500, which includes a $5,000 donation to the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s (SFVHF) Giving Tuesday Match-It Campaign, $2,000 from their Tree of Love drive, and $500 toward Christmas presents to Valley Manor residents. Proceeds from the Match-It donation and Tree of Love drive will help purchase a new mammography machine for St. Francis Memorial Hospital (SFMH). The Tree of Lights Campaign runs until December 31, 2023. Thank you to the Palmer Rapids and Area Lions Club members who made this gift possible!
