2026 Rockathon launch: Thursday, 30th April marks the launch of the Fifth Annual Rockathon hosted by SFVH Foundation in partnership with Valley Manor in Barry’s Bay. It’s time to assemble your team of rockers for the event which will take place in June. And even if you prefer to be a spectator, you’ll find lots of participants ready to rock who will be grateful for your support. So what are you waiting for – let’s rock!

Weekly heritage & crafts nights at Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre

Launched just last Monday, the Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre plans a series of weekly Heritage & Crafts Nights. Every Monday evening at 6:30pm to 9pm until June 29th, participants are invited to explore creativity, learn new skills, or simply enjoy time with others in a social setting. Come alone or with friends or family. Bring your own project and participate for just $5, or participate in a guided activity (materials supplied) for $10.
