OPP investigate Siberia Road boat theft
The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of an aluminum boat and homemade trailer in Madawaska Valley Township.
The boat and trailer were stolen from a property on Siberia Road at approximately 5:00 a.m. on April 26, 2026. The aluminum boat is 10ft long and features a flat bottom.

Intimate Partner Violence call results in charges
The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to an assault call for service.
On Monday, April 20, 2026, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Renfrew OPP responded to an assault call for service in the Town of Renfrew.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:
- Assault
- Uttering threats
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.

IPV call in McNab/Braeside leads to multiple charges
The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to an intimate partner violence call for service.
On Friday, April 29, 2026, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Renfrew OPP responded to an intimate partner violence call for service in the Township of McNab/Braeside.
As a result of the investigation one person was charged with:
- Three counts of assault
- Assault cause bodily harm
- Forcible confinement
- Two counts of sexual assault
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
