National anti-hate group questions Seat of Wisdom policies and links to conspiracy theorists
On April 1st the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) published an article in which Seat of Wisdom College (SWC) comes under the microscope for its “anti-LGBTQ+ policies” and its links through faculty members to “ultra-right conservative media blogs” LifeSiteNews.com (LSN) and Catholic Insight magazine. Journalist Hazel Woodrow has conducted an in-depth investigation following on from previous CAHN investigations of LSN and questions the role played by SWC as a result of the “overlap between” it and LSN as well as Catholic Insight. Among other things she discusses the “thoroughly debunked claim” published by LSN aimed at deterring people from wearing masks. Click HERE to read the full article.

Who wants to play ball?
Some MV parents are trying to determine if they can run a local baseball season this year. There would be COVID restrictions and safety precautions, but it would give the kids a chance to get outside and play some ball. As an informal “PRE-REGISTRATION” interested parents should forward their child’s name, age as of August 31, 2021, and their preferred level of play by email/call/text Tracy BY APRIL 9. Please advise if you can volunteer in some way (coaches, umpires, field times, and other volunteers are needed). If there is a season, it would start late May at the earliest.
