Attention Art Lovers! This weekend marks the Summer Studio Tour in the Madawaska Valley. This year 20 artists open their studios to visitors on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. The Summer Tour takes place on July 20-21, and the Fall Tour will happen on October 5-6. The Studio Tour is your chance to observe artists and artisans in their studios as they transform wood, clay, metal, glass, leather and canvas during live demonstrations.
During this free, self-directed tour, you and your friends can explore the picturesque landscape, with its lush forests and pristine lakes, and see why so many artists and artisans call this area home. One-of-a-kind art and fine craft will be available for purchase at the studios participating in both the Summer and Fall tours, including four new studios and several youth guest artists.
